1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Tasku ("we", "us", "our" or "the App") handles user information. By using our app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Data we collect and how we use it
Tasku is an application designed to run primarily locally on your device (offline-first).
2.1. Personal and usage data
- Personal data: We do not collect, transmit, or store personal data (such as names, emails, or locations) on external servers. All financial and expense information you enter is stored only in your device’s internal database.
- Usage data: We do not use third‑party analytics tools that track your behavior within the app for advertising purposes.
2.2. Technical data for error diagnostics (Sentry)
To ensure the stability and proper functioning of Tasku, we use Sentry (an error monitoring service operated by Functional Software, Inc.).
- Nature of the data: This tool collects only technical information about the device at the moment an error or crash occurs in the app. This includes the device model, operating system version (Android/iOS), memory state, battery level, and the specific line of code where the error occurred (stack trace).
- Strict anonymization: We have configured Sentry to be fully anonymous. The app blocks the collection of IP addresses, names, emails, or user identifiers (User ID). There is no link between error reports and the real identity of our users.
- Purpose: This data is used solely for debugging and to continuously improve the user experience, allowing us to fix issues before they affect more people.
- Third parties: The technical data is processed by Sentry in an encrypted and secure way. You can review their privacy commitments at sentry.io/privacy.
